Run, jog, walk or crawl your way towards your New Year's Resolutions at this fun, self-timed 5k for the whole family! Begins and ends at Birdville Fine Arts & Athletic Complex.
The goal of this run is to raise awareness and funds to aid in the fight against suicide. Together, we can help reduce the number of lives lost to suicide and help heal the hearts of survivors.
Holding Space for the Black Community: Empowering Communities to Prevent Suicide
Join us for this impactful workshop designed to address the unique mental health challenges and suicide prevention needs of the Black community. Facilitated by Jessica Domingos, Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Evie Effect, and Sammantha Megaw, Founder and Executive Director of SocialWorx Advocacy Group, this event provides meaningful conversations and practical tools to create spaces for trust, healing, and connection.
Open to anyone passionate about supporting the Black community, this workshop fosters hope, resilience, and stronger ties within our communities.

Light the Way 5K: Walk On Rock On Walk On For Mental Wellness
Presented by The Evie Effect and True Vine Brewing Company, this evening event is dedicated to mental wellness, community support, and hope. It includes a Kid's Dash, 5K Walk/Run, and a free after-run concert. Each registration includes a drink coupon, redeemable during the after-run concert for the special Be the Light Brew or a non-alcoholic option. Together, we’ll illuminate our paths toward well-being and resilience.
