Evie Rocks Tyler is a free community suicide awareness concert that brings people together through live music, connection, and shared purpose. Now in its 5th year, this annual event was created to raise suicide awareness, spark conversation, challenge stigma, and build community in East Texas.
Join us for an afternoon that goes beyond the stage. Evie Rocks Tyler creates space for people to come together, connect with local resources, and be part of a movement for change.

Holding Space: Suicide Prevention & Support Workshop

You don’t have to be a mental health professional to make a difference. Sometimes, the most important thing we can do is know how to show up when someone is struggling.
Holding Space is an interactive, evidence-informed workshop designed to help everyday people feel more comfortable recognizing signs of emotional distress, having difficult conversations, and supporting someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or thoughts of suicide.
Together, we’ll talk openly about mental health and suicide, challenge common myths, and learn practical ways to respond with empathy and confidence.
During the workshop, participants will learn how to:
- Recognize warning signs that someone may be struggling
- Start a conversation about mental health and suicide
- Ask directly about suicide
- Listen and respond without judgment
- Connect someone with appropriate support and resources
- Understand the role each of us can play in suicide prevention
Holding Space is designed for community members, friends, family members, coworkers, educators, volunteers, and anyone who wants to feel better prepared to support the people around them. No previous mental health or suicide prevention training is required.

Restoring Hope Suicide Loss Day Retreat

The Restoring Hope Day Retreat is designed for adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. Spend a day away from the demands of everyday life to be present, connect with others who understand, and care for yourself in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Hosted at Sky Ranch in Van, Texas, just 45 minutes from Tyler, the retreat features educational workshops, intentional experiences, self-care, meaningful conversations, and quiet moments of reflection, all designed to support your overall well-being. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are welcome here.
Thanks to the generous support of the Junior League of Tyler, retreat costs are covered, with only a small, non-refundable registration fee required to reserve your spot.

Restoring Hope for Women is an intimate, intentionally designed retreat for women who have experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. We are not gathering to focus solely on our loss stories. We are gathering to be present, to breathe, to laugh, to reflect, and to connect with other women who understand this journey without needing explanation.
Hosted at Sky Ranch in Van, Texas, just 45 minutes from Tyler, the weekend offers a welcoming environment where participants can step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on themselves.
Through a thoughtful blend of educational workshops, intentional experiences, self-care, meaningful conversations, and quiet moments of reflection, each retreat is designed to support your overall well-being while allowing you to participate at your own comfort level.
Space is intentionally limited to create a meaningful and personal experience.
