Restoring Hope is a retreat experience created for suicide loss survivors who need space to step away, breathe, and reconnect after loss. Through gentle activities, reflection, and meaningful connection, participants are invited into an environment focused on restoration, connection, and hope.
This retreat is not a memorial event or a grief therapy program. It is a supportive space to pause, feel seen, and spend time with others who understand the unique weight of suicide loss. Day and weekend retreat options are available.

Suicide loss can leave survivors feeling isolated in a way that is hard to explain. Even with people who love them, many survivors carry grief, questions, guilt, anger, and pain that others may not fully understand.
Restoring Hope was created because there is something deeply powerful about being with people who share this kind of loss. In that shared space, survivors do not have to explain every feeling or carry the weight alone.
It creates room to lay down grief for a while, be present, connect with others, and begin to find hope for moving forward.

Restoring Hope is made possible in part by a generous grant from The Junior League of Tyler. Because of their generosity, The Evie Effect is able to offer this program at low cost to participants.
Through this grant, we are able to extend access to loss survivors who may not have been able to attend otherwise.

Community support helps make Restoring Hope possible for suicide loss survivors that need this space but may not be able to cover the cost on their own.
